I am running for Congress to serve the people of the 50th District who voted resoundingly to elect Barack Obama to be our President and fulfill his promise of change and renewal for all Americans. I'm ready to work with him in Congress to create jobs, reform healthcare, improve education, revolutionize renewable energy and keep America safe. In short, to set America on a path to peace, progress and prosperity.

With your continued support, the change that we've worked and waited for will finally arrive on November 2, 2010 when I am elected to represent you in Congress.

What is different this time? EVERYTHING! There has been a tidal change in voter registration that has cut the once daunting Republican advantage in half. Even Washington has taken note of the huge shifts here and have reported in the national press that our district is being targeted for change in 2010.

IT'S OUR JOB TO MAKE IT HAPPEN! None of us know what will happen in the next two years. But we do know that "YES WE CAN" and "YES WE MUST" do our part to turn our hopes into reality for all San Diegans and Americans. And that's just what I intend to do and hope you will too.

He said "NO!" to saving and creating jobs in San Diego.
"NO!" to middle class tax cuts.
"NO!" to mortgage relief for responsible homeowners.
"NO!" to fixing our roads, bridges, schools and water and electrical systems.
"NO!" to affordable healthcare.
"NO!" to students and teachers.
"NO!" to investing in our Bio Tech, High Tech Clean Tech enterprises.
He even said "NO!" to Veterans returning from war.

Any way you slice it, he's playing the same game of Washington partisan politics with our lives just like those greedy Wall Streets crooks played reckless games with our savings. He has to GO!
